About glitch

We're building the leading street dance company in the UK.

Glitch Dance Company is a London-based youth dance company. We train young dancers in hip-hop, popping, locking, breaking and street dance — but our real work is bigger than steps and counts. We're building fitness, life skills and a strong, positive community for the next generation.

The room is the point. In the room, everyone shows up for each other. In the room, effort is a currency. In the room, you find out what you're actually made of. We compete because it sharpens us, we perform because it moves people, and we teach because that's how a scene becomes a family.

BOOGIE
Artistic Director

Boogie is a Hip-Hop and street dance battler who lives for the energy of the circle and the story told through movement. He’s competed and battled across Europe, representing his style in countries like Spain, Holland, Germany, and Poland, learning from different scenes and bringing that knowledge home. Teaching is more than giving a couple counts of 8, it’s mentoring, relationship and passion. He lives for shows and competitions while building confidence, discipline, and a creative voice. Dance isn’t just performance for him, it’s community, culture, and a way to help the next generation find their rhythm and own their space.

MONICA
Head Coach — Hip-Hop

Monica began performing at the age of seven at PPAS, where she discovered her passion for Hip-Hop and dance. That passion led her to become a student at Glitch, where she trained, competed, and gained knowledge and experience. Monica is currently training at Base Performing Arts College. To Monica, dance is a powerful form of expression and an escape from reality. When she dances, she feels free, confident, and completely in her happy place. Monica’s main styles are commercial and hip-hop. She has always wanted to teach so she can give other dancers the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive space where they can express themselves through choreography and, most importantly, have fun!!
